Why I Love Vacations in Thailand

And you have five reasons or why go to Thailand

Today, the traveler has a wide choice of countries to go on vacation, on vacation or even for a few months. Someone gives preference to Turkey or Egypt for a beach holiday, others go to the near abroad or Europe, and many go to Asia. For example, in Vietnam, China, India and other countries. One of the most visited Asian countries is Thailand.

Why is the kingdom of smiles so attractive to travelers of all ages, sex and income? Let’s find out. I found at least five reasons to go to Thailand. Just like in the song by Igor Nikolaev =0).

The first reason is nature.

The rich and lush tropical vegetation, beautiful and varied natural landscapes, numerous coconut palms growing almost everywhere, clear waterfalls and stunning nature parks attract even the most sophisticated travelers and tourists.

Tourist season in most parts of Thailand begins in November and lasts until April. During these months the air temperature is 30-35 degrees and the water temperature is 27-28 degrees. The probability of tropical downpours is minimal. Therefore, many Russians prefer to go to Thailand for the winter. And from there they lead their blog =0).

I know many such travelers, and a year ago I was planning to do the same. But as it turned out, my labrador Byron could only be transported in the luggage compartment (they would not let him in the cabin due to his weight). This option does not suit me at all.

It is also worth noting the beautiful and unforgettable beaches, which will charm you at first sight. Beaches on the islands of Samui, Phangan, Ko Chang and Phuket will be particularly impressive. Sand, clear water and palm trees along the coast – this is the ideal place for lovers of paradise.

In addition, the authorities, such as in Phuket, are struggling to return the beaches to their pristine form and banned the placement of sun beds and umbrellas on them.

And the second delicious food.

A variety of choice of national seafood dishes, a wide range of fruits and exotic spices will make you appreciate and love the excellent Thai cuisine. A variety of salads, cold appetizers, hot dishes will appeal to anyone. Worth mentioning is the famous Thai Tom Yam soup. Everyone who comes to Thailand must try it.

In the streets of cities are often found vendors who cook and sell a variety of local dishes. Usually they work at mobile food points – macashnikh. Especially popular are pancakes with banana or mango, classic shawarma, chicken kebabs and boiled corn. A wide range of grilled seafood is offered. All dishes are fresh, tasty, and the prices are affordable (not as affordable as a year ago due to the sharp rise in exchange rates, but still cheaper than in Russia).

In addition to food, in Thailand, just have to try freshly squeezed juices and shakes of exotic fruits.

thai_sok

Be sure to try the fresh green coconut juice, they are sold absolutely everywhere.

And I’m not talking about the fruit itself, which all Asian countries are famous for, but Thailand especially. There’s a lot to sell here – just the names alone can be confusing. I advise to try everything and stop at what you like best. In my case it’s mango, yellow watermelon and mangosteen, but it’s not pictured below =0).

Whoever is the first to write in the comments the correct name of this fruit, will get 100 rubles to the phone =0))

The third reason – plenty of excursions.

You can choose from a lot of interesting excursions that will tell you about the Kingdom of Thailand and explore its cultural heritage. Visit the capital city Bangkok (you will surely find yourself in it if you fly to Thailand by yourself). There are many Buddhist temples in the city.

And the observation deck at the top of the skyscraper Baiyoke Sky, where you will be treated to a sumptuous lunch. Also in Bangkok you can take a boat trip on the canals of the Chao Phraya River to see the city from the water.

thai_reka

For a complete immersion in the life of Thailand traveler invited to visit the crocodile farm, a zoo with exotic animals, the tropical garden of Nong Nuch – the most beautiful in Southeast Asia. The islands are must-see waterfalls, they will amaze you with the amazing views of pristine rainforest. And of course, every tourist in Thailand rides an elephant. It is not as scary as it seems from the outside. And a lot of positive emotions are guaranteed.

Well, what a trip to Thailand without visiting the island? Phi Phi, James Bond Island, Paradise Island, Similan – each island has its own flavor, and each want to stay for a couple of days.

thai_ostrova

The fourth reason – shopping.

In Thailand you can buy clothes and shoes at low prices. True, the quality can sometimes suffer, but choose what is more important – price or quality – it is up to you. At crocodile farms there are stores that offer an assortment of products made of crocodile skin. Great apopularity in Thailand uses silk.

Many tourists buy cosmetics in Thailand. All sorts of shower gels, shampoos, balms, scrubs and creams – all with a pleasant exotic scent. Thai toothpaste has long been popular in the world, it contains medicinal herbs. Be sure to buy coconut oil, it is used for skin care and hair strengthening.

Finally, we can not ignore the latex products . This material is used to make pillows and orthopedic mattresses. The uniqueness of latex is that bacteria and dust mites die in it. In addition, sleeping on a latex mattress is a great pleasure.

The fifth reason – the locals

Thailand is known in the world as the country of a thousand smiles. Indeed, you will always be smiling people, from hotel employees to passersby and vendors in the shops, from babies to the elderly. That’s the way it is in this country. Smiles create a pleasant atmosphere and conveys a friendly attitude.

Thais generally tend to avoid conflict. They are devout Buddhists, and in Buddhism it is believed that bad actions spoil karma. Thais like to joke with tourists, but usually their jokes are harmless and funny. You should learn from them the ability to live for today and enjoy what you have.

If you have already been to Thailand, then tell us in the comments why you loved or maybe hated (and it doesn’t happen) this country of a thousand smiles.

Photo report: 10 reasons why we love Thailand

I often get asked why I choose Thailand again instead of exploring something new.

Well, it’s a simple answer – because I feel an attachment to this place. I feel at home here. And it’s probably the only place, outside of Russia, where I feel as comfortable.

So why do I love Thailand? There are many reasons for that.

1 Warm weather.

I love the warmth and lots of sunshine.

After a snowy winter in Moscow, I’m drawn to the sun because there’s no shoveling snow in the tropics! Even though there is a rainy season.

I love the warmth, and the fact that it’s always summer here, I love Thailand.

2 Delicious Food.

When someone tells me that they like Thai food, but they haven’t been to Thailand, I think, “In reality, you’ve never really tried Thai food.”

Thai food in Thailand is completely different and tastes much better than anywhere else in the world, it is more varied and flavorful.

You will experience fireworks, no! explosion of flavors. The food is not for the faint of heart.

When ordering lunch, I will without fail, declare: “Mai pet,” which means “not spicy,” but by Thai standards that means only one chili pepper.

Thailand is a foodie’s blue dream.

3 Friendly locals.

Thais are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. They are very friendly, always smiling, very polite, and always willing to help.

They are amazing at accepting friendship, becoming a friend (visitor, customer, patient) to them once, you remain their friend forever.

4 Ideal for Travel

Thailand is in the heart of the eastern hemisphere – three hours to Hong Kong, two to Singapore, four hours to Bali, and halfway between Australia and Europe.

From Thailand, it’s easy to get to many, many places of interest to the traveler. Plus there are plenty of budget airlines and stock companies.

5 Perfect Tropical Islands

I love the beach. I can sit on the sand all day and swim for a few hours afterwards. It’s heaven for me.

Beaches at resorts are one thing, but traveling and exploring the country, you can find ancient, picture-perfect islands and coastlines all over Thailand.

I especially love Ko Samet and Ko Chang, lots of other little islands with beaches that just don’t have names, but all look like the picture.

Islands with steep mountain slopes, with waterfalls or lonely beaches, completely wild, where no one has been before me but its inhabitants.

6 Buddhist Temples.

As much as I enjoy lying on the beach, I am also fascinated by Buddhist temples. Each temple is unique, each has its own legend.

There are modern temples, but they are not inferior to the ancient ones in perfection and the idea behind them.

7 Thailand is convenient.

Need to take a bus to Vietnam? It can be easily arranged. Pharmacy at 2 a.m.? No problem.

Hungry at 3:30 in the morning? There is always someone nearby to sell you food.

Thailand is a very convenient place to live and travel. Here you don’t have to wait for a cab. They come up to you.

No other country in the world has so many types of transport!

Sangteo, tuk-tuks, classic cabs, motorcycle cabs, and various types of buses – the usual ones or the open ones that look more like trucks. Always a breeze! At most, with air conditioning.

And given that this is the tropics and it’s always summer here, the usual car transport is added to the sea.

Thais are fans of cars. They love them and take care of them like no one else. And it does not matter if it is a luxury car brand or a pickup truck, or made by hand – it will always be clean and beautifully decorated in the Thai way.

Transportation in Thailand goes beyond the standard.

8 International Kingdom.

Probably because of the huge number of foreign travelers, tourists from all over the world, I feel as at home in Thailand as I do in Moscow.

Trying to better understand and help foreigners, Thais try very hard and write signs, inscriptions and signage in a language not their own. It can be funny.

10 Bangkok

Bangkok cannot be known, understood or loved simply by passing through.

Like Moscow, Bangkok is a city to live in.

There’s always something to do, lots of events, lots of clubs, lots of temples, exhibitions and shows, canals and bridges.

I love cities like this. No matter what time of day or day of the week, you’ll always find something to do, entertain and be surprised by in Bangkok.

Like Moscow, Bangkok is the city that never sleeps.

When people ask me: What is my favorite country abroad? I always answer – Thailand.

Although I wonder how you can choose your favorite country?

Each one is amazing and special in its own way. No country, in fact, is not better than another, just different and that’s all.

However, Thailand holds a special place in my heart. We have a long history together. I will always come back to this country. I just love Thailand.
