The town of Sondrio. Northern Italy
Climbing from the valley to the castle took an hour and a half. It was very hot and beautiful))
View of Sondrio.
Historical center. Piazza Campello.

The house we lived in. On the first floor is the family restaurant, on the second and third are the rooms and rooms of the owners. Hotel Agriturismo Stella Orobica is popular with the Milanese, who are fond of eco-tourism and Swiss retirees, who have a cheaper holiday here than in their homeland)) By the way, the border with Switzerland is very close, if you count directly through the mountains – only 3 km!
A farm with a cowshed and a grain storage
The herd of 55 cows of Giuliano’s family is grazing all summer in the mountains, and only the bull and the cow and the calf are left on the farm in the valley.
Here the herd is milked during the winter.
A mechanism for whipping butter.
Real Italian cheese! We saw the production process when we went up into the mountains, I’ll tell you about that in the next post.
A panini and a salad from the hospitable hostess of the Naturalmente Golosa café.
The cafe has its own territory, the size of which allows you to keep a mini zoo. Here live a goat with a goat and peacocks!
At the kiwi plantation))
