Renaissance By Marriott Golden View Beach Sharm El Sheikh is located in Sharm El Sheikh, in the district of Ras Um El Sid. The hotel has 384 rooms, consists of an administrative 2-story building and 23 two-story additional buildings. The hotel was built in 2003, last renovation in 2020. Sharm el Sheikh city center is 9.8 km from the hotel. Sharm el Sheikh International Airport (20 km).

The hotel is located on the first coastline, 150 meters is its own, sandy beach (length 350 m) across the road from the hotel. Going into the sea – corals. Entrance only from plastic pontoon, length 25 m. Beach towels, sun loungers and umbrellas are free of charge. The bar on the beach is open from 10:00 till sunset.

Great, quiet room with a view terrace. Super well maintained area. Guys know NOTHING about service and comfort. Just kill the reusable plastic drink glasses in all bars, including the central bar. Not hygienic, not aesthetic, perhaps practical-but for me the big question. Hurt my leg with garbage on the volleyball court. Do not monitor the cleanliness of the beach. Food is monotonous and economy in everything. No snacks at the bar, plenty of food at the buffet, plenty of food at the buffet. No snacks at the beach bars. One ice cream in hand. Nothing to say modest. But most of all I resent the service of the bartenders. In front of me this morning they said to the man who asked for a beer, “Alcoholic!” What kind of treatment is that! What not to sit at the table for 20 minutes, it is easier to go to the bar and bring yourself all. It’s the same with the empty dishes and garbage. You can not throw out yourself, you will sit at a dirty table half the evening. The hotel is saved by the area, very well maintained, park design. Here unequivocally 5. But there is one, in my opinion, global drawback. With the house reef you can not watch it, because the hotel is located close to the cape and very strong changing currents. So for me the big question, came to swim at the reef – and the opportunity is almost no. We were staying at the hotel for a long time. Although we respect the grid itself.

Good location and beautiful reef. Tasty desserts and acceptable cuisine. Unfortunately, from the pluses it is everything. The New Year’s Eve banquet was a total rip-off. Animators were 10 minutes late with the greeting of 2022. No solemnity. No countdown to the New Year. Didn’t even bother to light a sparkler or pop a firecracker. This is the most disgusting New Year’s Eve ever. They offered me a banquet for $100 USD per person. Before paying for the banquet I repeatedly asked the hotel to familiarize me with the program and the concept of New Year’s Eve. We paid without waiting for an answer. And for nothing. Those who did not pay, just the same were at this event. No one checked who sits at the table. As such, there was no banquet. The area was not allocated and all the hotel guests went and sat and danced. Therefore I think this service is nothing more than a scam as nothing unusual was happening. Greedy staff directly saying that $ 2 USA is a small tip for two cans of warm beer, and for the request to open my bottle of wine from me demanded $ 16USA in the lobby bar. The hotel staff is poorly responsive when asked for help in an emergency situation. A strong gusty wind blew the door to my room off and hurt my arm. I could not close the door myself because of the broken door lock and asked for help from the staff on the phone. No one came for over an hour. Only after a personal visit to the front desk did they send me a staff member. Throughout my vacation, the siren was going off in my room and on the grounds of the hotel. The piercing sound woke me up daily at 3am, then at 5:54. It’s just a hell of a hotel. Room cleaning was nominal. The sand on the shoes from the beach lingered until we checked out of the hotel and that’s assuming I paid for room cleaning as a separate line item.

Rooms are good, the staff tries.The food has an Egyptian touch, but overall not bad.The sea is warm, there are fish. The drinks are local, the beer more or less, the rest is for lovers of local drinks.Coffee from vending machines is not very.Restaurants a la carte, at least the Italian is better avoided – a loss of time. We did not go to the fish restaurant.
