WonderWorks Upside Down House
The upside down Wonder Works house is a rather unusual building that has become a real cultural landmark in the city of Orlando. The house is upside down not only from the outside, but also from the inside.
They say the building used to be a research lab. Scientists, while creating a giant tornado, didn’t calculate its power, so a huge whirlwind turned the building upside down. Now the building houses a museum where you can walk on the ceiling, between the chandeliers.
Visitors to the house will not get bored here, because there is a lot of entertainment, such as a virtual roller coaster, a room for meditation and earthquake simulation, a gallery of illusions, a space zone, a zone of fear and other attractions. All this is placed on an area of 18,000 square meters.
A few hours to visit the museum is not enough – some people spend entire days here – from 9 am to 12 at night.

In photo mode you can view landmarks in Orlando by photo only.
Citrus Tower was built to allow visitors to view the miles of orange groves that surround it. The tower rises more than 152 meters above sea level, making it the highest point in the state of Florida.
Citrus Tower has been rising as a landmark since 1956. Today it vies for the title of being the tallest with the water towers and office buildings that have flooded Florida. By taking an elevator ride to the very last floor of any high-rise, one hopes to see the Citrus Tower in all its glory as the keeper of Florida’s high-rise history. The Citrus Tower has a place called Make-A-Wish, where you can hear the ringing of a tossed coin as it falls to the bottom.
The building that adjoins the base of the tower houses a large gift store that opened almost simultaneously with the Tower, as well as the local church.
There are few sights like the Citrus Tower, but that is their value as keepers of Florida’s history.
Kennedy Space Center
A stay in Florida is not complete without a trip to Kennedy Space Center. This is the only place on Earth where you can tour the actual space rocket launch headquarters! Here you can see with your own eyes the giant rockets and take a ride on the space simulators in launch mode.
The Kennedy Space Center is a complex of facilities owned by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) that is used to launch and control spacecraft. It covers a total area of 567 km² and is located on Merritt Island.
Most of the Space Center is a wildlife sanctuary, with Mosquito Lagoon, Indian River, National Wildlife Refuge, Merritt Island, and Canaveral National Seashore as its landmarks.
It is interesting to note that visitor parking occupies an area comparable to that of the center itself. Certain hours and days of the month are especially popular, when you can witness the spacecraft launch or watch the shuttle land.
The complex has activities for children, for example, you can compete in agility and dexterity, try your hand at being an astronaut, experiencing a small overload on the shuttle launch simulator.
