Fall in love with Bavaria forever!

12 reasons to go to Bavaria (32 photos)

Actually this post was inspired by my attitude to Germany in general. I have already written that I never considered Germany as a country to go on vacation. I don’t know why that is, but I just didn’t think about Germany at all somehow.

And this is my story about why you should go to Bavaria. I personally know 12 reasons to travel to this amazing land. Further numbering is just numbering without ranking by priority.

1. The meadows are of unreal beauty. As much as I look at them, I still can’t believe that they are real. 2. Mountains. I have no comments here, because it’s just impossible not to like mountains! 3. The lakes. They are like bottomless bowls, carefully surrounded and protected from all sides by the power of the Bavarian mountains. They are like mirrors, in which the picturesque shores are reflected. They are like jewels, shimmering in a variety of colors – from bright blue to azure green. You want to paint pictures with such lakes, and of course you want to swim in them. What a reason to come back to Bavaria in the warmer months! 4. Benches. This is one of my favorite reasons. I bow to the Bavarians for that alone! You would think what’s so great about benches! The whole point is that these benches are in the right places. You sit down, enjoy the indescribable view and at that moment, time ceases to exist for you. 5. Roads. That the roads are of excellent quality you can not write about – that’s for sure. But the roads in Bavaria incredibly scenic! And the one who is driving at the moment has extremely difficult and the car to drive, and the beauty outside the window is not distracting. 6. Clouds. Clouds that can be picked up in the palms of my hands and put in my pocket. The first time in my life I was in a cloud last year on Mount Gunung Raya in Malaysia. This mountain is only 881 meters high, but when the weather is cloudy, it’s high enough for clouds to float right through you. And then in Bavaria we got to Kelstein Mountain, where Hitler’s residence was. And that’s where the clouds were, too. Low and thick. Collect, but put it in your pocket Against the background of clouds, not a white wall 7. The houses of the locals, which are works of art. It’s as if the people of Bavaria have somehow learned to decorate their homes and their lives in a special way. These incredible flowers, behind which you can no longer see the houses. The painted walls that turn the city’s streets into art galleries. The colorful shutters … every corner is stunningly beautiful. You can’t stop marveling at how lovingly it’s all been done. 8. Cows. As a child, of all the animals, I loved cows and monkeys the most. To this day, I am still fascinated by cows with bells on their necks. I made myself videos of cows in meadows with bells ringing, and I revisit these clips to catch the spirit of the Bavarian Alps again. 9. Sheep. The sheep are a funny story in their own right. We were driving on the road toward home and in one of the meadows we saw sheep. It was a great big green meadow with a mountain in the background and a bunch of sheep in one “corner” of the meadow. We took a sharp turn toward the meadow to look at the perfect Bavarian sheep. And when these sheep saw our car stopped by the meadow, they rushed like crazy from their “corner” to us, to the opposite corner. HOW funny their ears were developing at that. We laughed until we cried! And all that, along with the almost palpable stomping of hooves, was something. 10. Good food. Even fast food. It was one of the tastiest sausages I’ve ever had. 11. Colorful locals. A lot of local men walk around in national costumes. It looks a little funny, but very patriotic. 12. from Germany is very easy to get to Austria. And we fell in love with Austria forever too!
