Zeitoun Island is a tiny tourist island in the Red Sea and is one big beach. The island is located near the resort town of El Gouna and is very popular among vacationers.
Zeytuna is a great resort area that attracts many bathers and sunbathers. You can get to this island by boat – it is absolutely free for hotel guests. The island itself – it’s really a little paradise. There are sun beds, umbrellas, lots of bars and restaurants. Also available are all kinds of beach activities, including diving.
A local landmark of the island is the magnificent aquarium, which represents almost all species of fish that live in the Red Sea. There is no entrance fee to the aquarium, which is great. There are also many stores and souvenir stores on Zeitoun where you can buy some trinket to remember this magnificent place.
The Beaches of El Gouna
El Gouna is a gated, expensive town with luxurious clean, wide beaches and all kinds of other luxuries such as level hotels, an impressive golf course, countless kite, wind and surf schools, three yacht stations and a casino.

Historical Museum of El Gouna
The El Gouna Historical Museum is one of the most famous tourist attractions in the resort of El Gouna. The museum features a vast collection of various historical relics and artifacts.
El Gouna Historical Museum was founded in 1996, and for more than fifteen years its exhibition has been introducing visitors to the fascinating history of Egypt from ancient times until the present day. Tours there are accompanied by music – most often classical music, as well as a variety of ethnic melodies, which give the museum extra flavor.
Also in the building of the Historical Museum is an aquarium, where you can get acquainted with the many inhabitants of the Red Sea. Some aquariums use special lighting, allowing you to see the glimmering corals at night. There is a charge for admission but the magnificent exhibits and the beautiful aquarium are definitely worth seeing.

Guest House “Tortoise House”
Situated in the Egyptian city of El Gouna, on the Red Sea coast, the Tortoise House Guest House is an unusual art object that many tourists seek to see. It was built near the golf courses and is surrounded by a picturesque lagoon.

Architectural project “Breath of the desert”.
The Breath of the Desert is a unique architectural project and the most famous piece of modern art. “Desert Breath” is an abstract structure in the form of two logarithmic spirals located in the middle of the Egyptian desert near the city of El Gouna.
“Desert Breath” was created in 1997 under the direction of a group of three artists. This object of art covers an area of more than 100 thousand square meters and consists of 178 cones of different sizes. Half of all the cones are concave, the other half are convex. Both groups form two converging spirals that meet in a conditional center.
Desert Breath looks the most spectacular from the air, as from the ground it is impossible to enjoy the perfect geometric precision of this construction and realize its scale. Nevertheless, there is always a lot of people who want to see this strange work of modern art up close.
Kafr El Ghuna Island
Kafr El Ghouna is the central island of a small man-made archipelago established off the coast of the Red Sea. The archipelago is home to the town of El Gouna, one of the most exclusive and prestigious resorts in Egypt.
Kafr Island is the real heart of El Gouna, and in addition, it is the most beautiful and picturesque of all the islands of the archipelago. The island is built very thoughtfully, and its architecture is made in the traditional Egyptian style – with long straight alleys, domed arches and courtyards at each building.
